The first voyage of the East India Company left London from Woolwich on 13 February 1601, with five ships, one of which was the flagship Red Dragon, under the command of Captain James Lancaster. The rest is history and how we find ourselves connected.

You are invited to:

Celebrate the achievements of sixteen individuals from diverse backgrounds, who spent nearly two years researching on the East India Company and writing historical fictions based on facts

Programme starts: 6.30pm

• Light refreshment, exhibition viewing and networking
• Welcome & Introduction
• Short presentations and readings (by an expert on the East India Company and several authors)
• Human Stories and the East India Company - a screening of a short documentary on the project
• Telling the Untold - dramatisation of some section from several stories.

Close: 8.30pm
