Event description
Ever felt paralysed by the current climate crisis? Wondered how much of difference you can make - especially when those in power don’t seem

About this Event

These strong emotional reactions to the climate crisis have various names: eco-anxiety, ecophobia, environmental guilt etc. All of them are characterised by a sense of not doing enough for the environment, feeling powerless by the enormity of climate change, or despairing at a perceived inability to make a “real” difference.

Exploring how our emotions are getting in the way of tackling climate change is Clover Hogan, a 20-year-old climate activist, youth spokesperson, and founder of Force of Nature, a organisation helping to mobilise youth climate activism. She will be interviewed by Caroline Hickman, a counsellor and psychotherapist who also focuses on our emotional responses to the current climate crisis.
