Stiff back? Tight shoulders or hips?

Hi I'm Adam from Free Your Spine yoga therapy.

In just 60 minutes, I will guide you on a mini yoga journey to melt away tension, stretch out your spine, and help you feel taller, lighter, and more alive.

This taster class is ideal for anyone seeking relief and healing from chronic tension and pain, or just a burst of energy. It is suitable for flexible and inflexible bodies, and no knowledge of yoga is needed. Most of the class will be spent lying down, so all levels of fitness are welcome too.

The class will use a simple yet powerful 4-stage process:

  1. Identify tension, including hidden tension, using special props and exercises.
  2. Release the tension, so that pain reduces or disappears, often using fascia-focussed exercises, or breathwork.
  3. Increase mobility and ease, to allow the body to inhabit a better posture.
  4. Strengthen the core and postural muscles, so that the body stays open, quiet and pain-free.

The Free Your Spine approach is based on Adam's trainings as a Critical Alignment Therapist and yoga teacher, together with fascia-focussed exercises, designed to safely and effectively release long-held tension.

Next Steps

At the end of the taster class, I will tell you a little more about my new upcoming classes and Back to Strength Course which I'm launching later in October, and the Mastery Training Program which I'm launching in early November.

These are all based on the same 4-stage process that you will have experienced in your body during the taster class. All classes and workshops are designed so that you can learn how to heal different areas in your own body, including for your lower back, upper back, hips, shoulders, neck, breath, core, and posture.

I look forward to meeting you, and to supporting healing in your own body.

Adam x

Important Info

Please bring loose, comfortable clothes suitable for stretching, eg t-shirts, joggers, leggings etc. I will provide the special props needed.

PS. Please do click to register for the class if you intend to come. I need to know numbers so I can bring enough special props for everyone. And please do cancel, if you can no longer come, so that someone else can take up your spot. Thank you in advance for this!

PPS. If you can't make either taster class in Kilburn Park, then please come and say hi at my stand (R3) at the OM Yoga Show in Alexandra Palace from 17-19 October. I'm also doing a taster class there on Saturday 18 October at 3:45 pm.

Testimonials

"I have lived with chronic back and neck pain for 30 years. I tried yoga, chiropractors, physios, Alexander Technique, osteopaths and massage of every variety, most at significant cost all with no lasting impact. For the first time in decades something has changed, I am both grateful and astounded. Doing this work with Adam is life changing for me." - Mark, 67
"I arrived curious. I left feeling more grounded in my body – my spine more supported, freer. The workshop offered all the things I cherish: a sense of calm, a structured pace and the knowledge that I was being held." - Gina, 66
After just one private session with Adam, my entire spine felt lighter — like the tension had melted away. My posture felt effortless. I noticed a real boost in my stamina and energy while swimming. The difference was immediate." - Daniel, Chef
"I’ve done years of yoga and movement training, but nothing has ever touched the layers of tension I accessed in this private session. With Adam’s skillful guidance, I discovered areas of deep holding I didn’t even know were there — and actually felt them release. This work reaches places other practices simply don’t." - Alina, Yoga Teacher
