The University of Bristol Campus Division is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all contractors engaged to undertake work with or on our behalf.

This Contractor induction training provides the minimum health and safety guidelines that must be adhered to by all contractors and subcontractors, engaged to undertake work on a site on the behalf of UOB.

The induction provides an introduction to the University, explores some hazards that may be faced on site and outlines the key safety rules for working at the University of Bristol.

This induction also provides the minimum health and safety guidelines and responsibilities required of those that access plant rooms, as well as the hazards you may encounter whilst accessing plant rooms.

Please note: Attendees will be required to participate by answering questions throughout the induction.

If you have any special requirements, or any concerns about participating during the induction, please email campus-division-safety@bristol.ac.uk.

Additionally, if you have any access requirements, please let us know so that we can ensure access is available to the rooms booked.

Please note: If you are booking for multiple people, when registering for tickets please select 'as a company member' and 'create company', using your company name. From there you can input each individual attending the induction.

Room 4F2 is in the Priory Road Complex. Enter via 8 Woodland Rd at the Priory Rd Lecture Theatre entrance. Turn left and take the door on the left of the lift to gain access to the stairs to the 4th floor. Room 4F2 is along the corridor and second room on the left.

Please allow time to park your vehicle and locate the room.

If an individual can no longer attend, please either cancel their slot or let us know by email so that we can make the space available to someone else.

If you are unsure that you have successfully booked a place, please email campus-division-safety@bristol.ac.uk to confirm, rather than trying to book again.
