About this event

About the Webinar

Institutional research culture is central to doctoral researchers' learning and development experiences, yet the experience of doctoral education is widely acknowledged to be both academically and psychologically challenging. In this 2-hour webinar, we will discuss the contributory factors to positive research culture and consider the potentialities and challenges for advancing positive doctoral research cultures in British HE institutions. This webinar also brings together a valuable network of experts from academia, industry, and third sector organisations. By engaging in knowledge exchange, we will synthesize expert insights concerning sources of need, strength, and fulfilment for various stakeholders within these research communities.

This event will preliminarily launch a series of projects that aim to uncover and deliver pathways for fostering thriving in doctoral researcher communities by enriching and empowering institutional research culture. Please register your interest and join our network by registering for this virtual webinar.
