About this Event

Unlocking Potential (UP)

A breakfast meet with local organisations to discuss and define what Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs are and how it can further a collective impact across Brent.

Unlocking Potential (UP) is a charity who run a variety of programmes for children and young adults across London. In Brent, we are focused on supporting 18-25-year old’s with SEMH needs, that often prevent them from accessing meaningful employment and training. Engaging with NEET individuals, our approach is holistic, therapeutic and aimed at enabling young adults to overcome any barriers, helping them progress into fulfilled and sustainable employment.

Topics we will cover during our breakfast are:

Understanding SEMH

How does SEMH affect young adults in Brent

UP’s approach and Programme

UP’s referral process
