About this event

Alice ('club founder) is dusting off her textiles degree to bring you Creative Babes Club's debut textiles workshop 'Upcyle and yap' slow fashion: hand embroidery motifs. Bring your own piece of clothing to upcycle, and show your creative wellbeing (and your wardrobe) some LOVE. This workshop is beginner friendly so if you are a newbie in the sewing and textiles dept, the 'club has got you!

Step 1: know your stitches... learn and practice your 4x hand embroidery stitching techniques. All materials and tools provided.

Step 2: design your motifs... play around with your motif designs and find your creative rhthym.

Step 3: upcycle... upcycle your piece of clothing with your hand stitched motifs.

**please note: you will be required to bring your own item of clothing to upcycle... eg T-shirt, denim jacket, fabric tote bag...

Creative Babes Club is a community for 'creative babes' to give space for their creativity, their creative ideas and to grow their creative circles. The only "club code": come exactly as you are in your creative 'ebbs and flows'.

Come solo - meet new creative babes - and/or invite your creative circles.

Yes! This hand embroidery workshop is beginner friendly - with an expert, easeful 'textiles tutorial' led by 'club founder Alice, who is skilled in Textiles and Surface Design.

Do I need to bring anything?

Yes! bring your own piece of textiles clothing eg t-shirt, denim jacket, tote bag... to upcycle and add your hand embroidered motifs to.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! There is free parking on Leven Road, in front of @sundaycoffeeandkitchen and along the High Street.
