About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Think you need a garden to get growing? Think again. We're creating micro gardens - and even better, we're using upcycled planters to do it.

So if you have an odd shoe, a chipped mug or a lidless teapot don't condemn it to landfill. Bring it along to the library and we'll help you turn it into a mini garden - doing good for the planet twice in one day!

Don't worry if you don't have anything special to plant in - an old lunch box, biscuit tin or food packaging will do, and we'll make sure we have some options on hand for you to use if you forget.

This family friendly activity is FREE to attend but spaces are limited so book your place today. Suitable for children aged 4-8 years who must be accompanied by an adult. Only book a place for the number of children who are taking part.

Should you later discover you are unable to attend please cancel via Eventbrite or get in touch with the library to let us know so as we can make your spot available to someone else.
