In this workshop, you will learn how to make a beautiful bird out of fabric scraps.

Step by step guidance on how to make a colourful bird
A finished piece to take home
Some ideas on what to make with your final piece
2 hours of creative time in a relaxed atmosphere
New skills that you can easily apply at home.

What not to like?

All materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring fabrics that you wish to upcycle.

No previous sewing experience needed.

Do I need to bring my own fabric?

No, all materials will be provided. You can bring your own fabric if you want to, but there is no obligation.

Do I need to know how to sew?

No, I will show you some basic stitches.

Is it accessible to wheel chair?

Unfortunately, the room is upstairs and the café doesn't have a lift.

Is it a workshop a child can do?

If they are old enough to do some sewing and are okay with scissors then yes, they can attend with an adult. I would say children above 7 years old can attend the workshop. They would need their own ticket.
