Fancy trying your hand at upholstery?
A productive weekend in Deco Ghetto’s workshop will do the trick, where you’ll learn a wealth of new skills and leave with a fabulous transformation to be proud of. Whether you’ve never have never tried it before or need guidance with your next challenge come along to a weekend course. Held throughout the year, and there’s lunch too!
A weekend is a good amount of time to complete a modern headboard, a pair of drop in seats or a dining chair.
You can also book into a few weekends to work on a bigger project, leaving with some homework to complete in your own time until you need a helping hand with the next stage ensuring you get the most out of the course. If you need advice on a project get in touch.
You’ll learn -
How to take your project apart and things to look out for
Frame repairs (if necessary)
Appropriate usage of sundries and tools
Professional cuts to fit fabric to a frame
How to identify appropriate fabrics for use in upholstery
All tools are supplied and materials are available to purchase
10 - 5 Saturday & Sunday
A £50 deposit can also be made via Eventbrite
Lunch & and refreshments are provided, a good days upholstery is fuelled by tea & cake!

There’s lots of lovely frames available to purchase and a range of fabrics available to pre-order, or you can raid the charity box (where a donation goes back to a local charity).
