Event description
This one-day online course focuses on the management of musculoskeletal disorders in the workplace using an ergonomic approach.

About this event

Musculoskeletal disorders account for up to 30% of all work-related ill health cases and 27% of all working days lost due to work-related ill health. Aimed at all occupational health professionals, this course will support delegates in their assessment of work-related musculoskeletal disorders and enable them to deliver evidence-based effective advice to both employers and employees.

The first half of the course will focus on risk factors for musculoskeletal disorders in the workplace, how to perform job analysis and ergonomic risk assessment, and how to use an ergonomic approach in managing work-related musculoskeletal disorders.

The second half of the course will focus on the practical application of the upper limb assessment tools RULA and ART, including interactive cases for delegates to apply the practical principles to, and to demonstrate how an ergonomic approach to clinical assessment may add value to the management of work-related upper limb disorders.

Trainee discount also available at £125 (+VAT)
