The latest Upstairs@Indigo brings an atmospheric Celtic folk feel, to our regular event.
Cael Oak
Hailing from Liverpool, Cael comes to Indigo as a gifted acoustic singer-songwriter launching his first album. With a knack for melancolic yet uplifting melodies, his music resonates with the raw heartfelt beauty of honesty.
Each song is a chapter from his varied life, conveyed by his uniquely powerful voice. Influenced by the likes of Dermot Kennedy, Chris Stapleton and Billy Joel, Cael infuses his work with a blend of Celtic musical finesse and emotivestory telling. His work builds a bridge between personal experiences and universal emotions.
The Tree Gnomes
We are beyond pleased to welcome our regular favourites The Tree Gnomes once again to Upstairs@Indigo. Since first performing for us in January, this musically talented Mother and Daughter duo have gone on from strength to strength establishing themselves as a much sought after Celtic Folk duo on the local music scene. They are also a key part of the Celtic female supergroup Triquetra. Firmly based in the long tradition of musical story telling, through flute, fiddle, mandolin and voice, the Tree Gnomes continue the belief that traditional folk music is something for us all to enjoy and share.
Now well established on the folk scene, the Tree Gnomes come to Upsatairs@Indigo bringing us a mix of originals and well established folk tunes from the British Isles and Ireland.
