We’re excited to have you join us for this insightful session, where we’ll explore how buildings interact with their urban surroundings through advanced modelling and monitoring approaches.

Our Seakers:

• Dr Xiaoxiong Xie, Lecturer in Building Engineering, University of Plymouth

• Dr Cho Kwong Charlie Lam, Lecturer in Environmental Science

Join CIBSE South West for an online webinar on modelling and monitoring buildings in urban environments, with two expert speakers from the University of Plymouth.

Dr Xiaoxiong Xie is a Lecturer in Building Engineering and CIBSE Building Simulation Award winner. He will present on multi-scale modelling of buildings in urban environments, building on his research exploring the interaction between indoor and outdoor environments.

Dr Cho Kwong Charlie Lam is a Lecturer in Environmental Science and the lead author of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's (IPCC) Working Group II on Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability.
