Experience the city through sound with artist Tim Shaw
Join us for an iteration of artist Tim Shaw’s Ambulation. Ambulation is a live augmented walking practice that uses listening and sound processing technologies to harvest sounds from the immediate environment and present them back to you as you move through the city.
During this walk Tim will draw on field recording techniques, collecting acoustic sounds, electro-magnetic waves and other diverse signals through different microphones and sensors. As he walks, he transmits these sounds to participants wearing wireless headphones.
