On 13 September 2025, Roehampton’s streets and spaces will become a stage for an extraordinary procession animated by 100 local people carrying 100 silks flags, joined by world-class dancers to create a powerful fusion of contemporary dance and martial arts. As the procession weaves through the streets, it will pause outside landmark heritage buildings to showcase captivating dance and martial arts displays, leading to a spectacular finale on Bull Green.
This collaboration between professional artists and community performers of all ages and abilities, promises to be an unforgettable, immersive experience. This ambitious project is brought to life by India’s Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts, UK arts charity and silk co-creators Kinetika, and Wandsworth’s Tavaziva Dance, uniting international and local talent in a one-of-a-kind spectacle.
