The 2017 edition of the Condé Nast International Luxury Conference will take place at the Al Husn & Al Bandar Hotels at the Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa in Muscat, the Sultanate of Oman, on 5-6 April.
Suzy Menkes, International Vogue Editor, and host and curator of the event, says: "the conference will explore the vast reach of 21st-Century luxury. Oman stands at the nexus of this global trade, offering a unique perspective that encompasses India to the Far East, Europe to Arabia.
Muscat, in the Sultanate of Oman, is where international trade routes have historically converged. From its unique vantage point over three seas, it is still today the perfect location from which to explore the new silk routes.”
Bringing together 500 business and creative leaders from the global luxury and fashion industry, the Condé Nast International Luxury Conference is the premier event for the industry.
The conference will include a mixture of stimulating and relevant keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interviews - together with social events of the highest quality.
Suzy Menkes invented the luxury conference concept in Paris, in 2000. The best-known fashion journalist in the world, Suzy now writes for 21 editions of Vogue online, in 15 different languages, reaching an audience of well over 38 million. She is also active on Instagram (@SuzyMenkesVogue), where she has over 300,000 followers.
