The University of Greenwich is delighted to host this knowledge exchange symposium to explore the use and ethics of AI in two key areas: Recruitment and selection processes and Higher Education and research practices.

The symposium, split into 2 sessions with a catered lunch 1-2pm, will bring researchers from across disciplines together to present on and discuss topics around the ethics of AI applications in the workplace and higher education.

This event will be open to the university commuity, partner organisations, and members of the public interested in these topics. Attendees are welcome to attend both sessions or just one, and are encouraged to join for the networking lunch.

Breakdown of timings:

  • 10:30 - 11am: Welcome and Registration
  • 11am - 1pm: Use and ethics of AI in recruitment and selection processes
  • 1 - 2pm: Networking lunch for all attendees
  • 2 - 4pm: Use and ethics of AI in Higher Education and research practices
