This roundtable is part of a series of events aiming to generate informal discussion about various topics relevant to early career researchers based at the Usher Institute, Edinburgh Medical School. 

On June 1, 2022 please join us at 1pm (BST) for a panel discussion on work-life balance and competing responsibilities. Topics to be discussed during this session include: dealing with years of temporary contracts; pros and cons of moving institutions; keeping part-time work as part-time; juggling different job roles (and jobs); switching off. Panellists for this event are Fiona Dobbie, Steff Lewis and Nazir Lone. Martyn Pickersgill will facilitate the discussion. This is an open conversation and early career researchers attending the events are invited to join the discussion, share their experiences and ask any questions. The event will be held online via Zoom.
