Paul Browning is a wildlife photographer whose life and work revolve around wild places, wild creatures, and the power of photography to tell their stories. From photographing golden eagles in Sweden to tracking wolves and bears in Finland, and watching goshawks tear across the skies in Spain, Paul’s adventures have taken him across Europe. But he’s just as passionate about the wildlife closer to home - spending countless hours in the remote corners of the UK, capturing everything from tiny firecrests and owls to deer and wading birds.
For Paul, photography isn’t just a profession - it’s how he makes sense of the world. He thrives on those quiet, hard-earned moments in the field, lying completely still, waiting for that one instant when animal and lens connect. Sharing those moments through images and stories is what drives his work and keeps him returning to the wild.
Paul’s dedication has earned him recognition along the way. In 2022 he was named Sony Alpha’s Photographer of the Week, and in 2025 he was awarded Runner-Up in the Animal Behaviour category at the British Wildlife Photography Awards, with his work featured in the BWPA Collection 13.
In this talk, Paul will share some of his most memorable images and experiences, talk about the gear that helps him capture them, and pass on tips and techniques for improving your own wildlife photography. There’ll also be time for a Q&A session, giving you the chance to learn directly from Paul’s knowledge and experience.
If you love wildlife, care about conservation, or simply want to be inspired by the beauty of the natural world, this is a session you won’t want to miss.
