About this event

  • Event lasts 7 days 2 hours

Data is an important fundraising tool for telling the story of the work you do, the people you help, and the difference you make. Many funders will even specifically ask you to provide data in their application or reporting processes!

Knowing where to find good data and how to use it effectively in your funding applications is not always obvious. Many Fundraisers are also sat on a gold mine of data from within their own organisation that they are not using to their advantage!

Get Grants Using Data in Fundraising Training Course aims to build confidence in finding, using, and collecting your own relevant data so you can increase your chances of fundraising success!

Who is this course for?

This course is designed to be suitable for all not-for-profit organisations, including charities and community groups of all shapes and sizes. This informative and practical course will benefit both those who are new to fundraising as well as experienced fundraisers looking to improve their skills.

This training course complements our Bid Writing, Storytelling, and Trusts & Foundations training courses.

What to expect

During this two-day course, you will look closely at:

  • Identifying the need for your project and using data to evidence this to funders;
  • Describing your activities and the change they will make using data;
  • Using data to evaluate your project and measure your impact;
  • Look at how data collected on previous projects can be used to evidence need for your next project;
  • Top tips on using data effectively within bid writing and general fundraising efforts.

Delivered across two 2-hour sessions, this course will be friendly and conversational, with lots of opportunities to ask questions and get input from our Funding Expert.
