About this event

  • 2 hours

This workshop, specifically aimed at Local Authority Development Management officers, will focus on the role of DM officers in using design codes, post production, in the decision making process. At these sessions, you will hear from pathfinders about their design codes and how these are being implemented, covering their use in pre-application engagements, the role of compliance tools and checklists, and the application of design codes when determining planning applications. It will be an opportunity to hear from pathfinder local authorities about how DM officers are practically using adopted codes.

This session is repeated on 4th June and is part of a series of online workshops PAS are hosting with DLUHC and the local authority Design Code pathfinders to share information about how Development Management officers can positively engage in the production, use and monitoring of Design Codes.

This online workshop is only for LPAs. Please register with using your local authority.gov.uk

Due to limited spaces at the event, we may have to limit numbers attending from individual authorities. If this event is full, please include your details on the waiting list as we will use this as we manage attendance and share outputs from the session.

We run a range of events for local authority planners. Often our events are subsidised by Government which means we have to be quite strict about who is allowed to sign up. If in doubt - ask us!
