Event description

Description

The great democratising surge of social media has produced a new wave of content publishers, competing for a finite amount of attention. In this environment, impassioned audiences erupt around niche topics, with opinions converging rapidly like never before.

Faced with these sentiment storms, politicians, journalists and regulators are finding it increasingly difficult to separate fact from opinion, with opponents and activists all too happy to manipulate debate to suit their own objectives.

As we all adjust to this new communications landscape, how can organisations make sure that they are seen by policy makers as having a credible impactful and truthful voice?

On 31st October you’ll get a chance to find out. Together with a fantastic line-up of speakers including the Prime Minister's Head of Digital Mario Creatura, Centrica's Clara Lemaire and forrmer spokesperson to Jeremy Corbyn Mart Zarb-Cousin, we will host a breakfast on how to use Digital, Social and Creativity to gain the attention of policy influencers and impact the debates that are relevant to you.

The debate will also feature the launch of FleishmanHillard Fishburn and YouGov’s Digital Public Affairs research and a live Twitter Q&A. Breakfast will be provided

The event is in the Smithfield and Shard at Bankside 3, 90-100 Southwark Street, London, SE1 0SW. It begins at 8am with the panel starting at 8:30am
