Description

Using Digital Interventions to Drive Behaviour Change in Populations

Following a series of behaviour change workshops in 2017 created by Public Health England in conjunction with NHS England, Health Education England and Public Health Action we are putting on a consecutive workshop to help to put learnings from last year’s workshop in to practise.

The workshop is intended for those working in the South West who are involved in behaviour change across the health system including local authority public health teams, local authority communication leads, CCG communication leads, NHS England communication leads and STP communication, engagement and prevention leads. The event is also open to all with an interest in Behaviour Change

We are designing the programme to be an all-day event which is practical and informative with time for Q&A and sharing local practice with others.

We are developing the programme to have four strands

  • Using digital interventions to drive behaviour change with speakers from PHE
  • Social marketing campaign update from PHE
  • Sharing local examples
  • Examples of local insight work - examples of how insight and research has informed successful campaigns

Speakers will include PHE national lead for behavioural insights, Dr. Tim Chadborn, Kate Knight from Public Health Action, Dr. James Mapstone, PHE and PHE social marketing and communication teams.
