About this Event

Inspired Equine Assisted Learning CIC (IdEAL) are pleased to be running this workshop to demonstrate how Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) can be used to help a wide range of adults and children looking for a new way to improve confidence and self-awareness, including people with behavioural challenges, mental health problems, learning difficulties, dementia and social isolation issues.

EAL is a great way to improve your confidence, communication and self-esteem and is very empowering, with the horse’s honest reaction to your actions and behaviour giving you a deeper understanding of yourself.

Experiential learning or learning by doing is incredibly effective, it helps to establish lasting behaviour changes. When you learn through experience you don’t just learn new information, you develop new habits and behaviours.

Both the physical and emotional benefits of EAL can be combined to encourage gentle physical activity (grooming, leading) while also promoting social cohesion, collaboration and teamwork.
