Speaker: Maggie Mosley, PMSL and ABP Performance Awards Winner
It is difficult for Business Psychologists to compete with purveyors of training that is not evidence-based, because by definition, they can promise ‘fantastic’ results, ‘life-changing’ experiences, and ‘never-seen-before awesome amazingness’.
As responsible practitioners, Business Psychologists do not make such rash claims. So why would clients be interested in something that doesn’t sound as sexy?
The simple answer is that when using evidence-based practice you can prove the value of your interventions by demonstrating return on investment.
Entrants to the ABP Awards are asked to explain how they identify challenges, apply Business Psychology models, ensure client buy-in and demonstrate ROI. This template guides best practice and is a great crib sheet for delivering a professional intervention.
This session will explore how to prove value to the client and maybe win an award in the process.
It is expected that the presentation will last 45 minutes followed by approximately 30 minutes of Q&A and networking will as usual be encouraged at this event.
