This session will look at how iPads can be used in EY and KS1 to prepare and support the Computing curriculum. A range of apps and classroom examples will be used, including those which specifically support programming in the curriculum.
iPads will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own if you want to.
Attendees will also receive a hard copy of the new QuickStart Computing toolkit from CAS.
All materials and resources used on this course will be made available to all delegates after the course.
Isabella is the Computing Specialist teacher for the Future Academies group in Westminster, where she plans and delivers the Computing curriculum to children from Nursery to Year 6 across Millbank Academy, Churchill Gardens and Pimlico Primary. She has over twelve years' experience of supporting schools with using technology effectively and creatively, both in her previous role as Local Authority Consultant, and more recently through her own consultancy work.
