Event description

We are very excited to bring you the 1st part out of 3 Panel tutorials, in which our Digital Skills Instructor Sue Way will take you on a trip to discover one of the best video making technologies, Powtoon. This tutorial will take place on the 29th of August at 11am (GMT+1).

Whilst working as a Maths teacher in the US, Sue quickly became fascinated by how technology could be used to enhance classroom instruction and make learning more fun. She left the math classroom in 1999 and has worked in the field of instructional technology since then, conducting teacher training and professional development at a district, regional and state level. She earned a second Master’s in Educational Technology Leadership in 2012 and is now the Instructional Technology Coordinator for a small school district as well as a career and technology teacher for students ages 11-18.

What you will gain from this tutorial:

  • Understanding the value of using Powtoon as an instructional tool to enhance your classroom instruction.

  • Having some great new ideas for classroom lessons and activities using Powtoon.

  • Learning how to quickly and easily create your own Powtoons.

This is an online tutorial which will be broadcasted via Go To Meeting - a link to join the tutorial will be sent to all sign-ups a week before the event and a recording will be sent out to anybody who is unable to attend live.

Sign-up now for free whilst tickets last!
