Description

Run by an HCPC registered Dramatherapist, this session will provide an overview of how the creative arts are used in therapy and specific techniques that can be implemented with children and young people.

Learning outcomes

  • gain understanding of how we can be creative in our approaches to work
  • gain an understanding of the theory behind specific creative techniques
  • to understand and feel able to conduct specific techniques with young people
  • to understand how to adapt your work to engage hard to reach young people

Who should attend? This day is for all professionals who come into contact with young people who may be hard to engage. Additionally, anyone with an interest in psychodynamic approaches will benefit from attendance.

Students in therapeutic training are welcome.
