Booking open to members from Girlguiding Ulster.

THIS COURSE IS BEING HELD IN BROUGHSHANE, NOT DUNLUCE GUIDE HOUSE.

Car parking is available front & back of the church hall. Please enter via the back entrance and go upstairs to the training room. Please wear guiding uniform. Refreshments will be provided. There is no accreditation with this course, however you need to have attended "Fundamentals of Autism" on 10th March before attending this course.


Course Aim:

This course explores a recap of Autism, It will look at the benefits of using visual strategies and identifies elements of structured learning that may benefit an individual with Autism and how these can be implemented in the unit or other environments in a practical way.

Elements of Structure explored includes:

  • Schedules
  • Work or Activity systems
  • Physically structuring the environment
  • Positive Routines

There is no accreditation for this course.
