Do I need to have practiced Reiki or have had a Reiki session to attend?

Accepted Answer

This is not mandatory. However, I would greatly encourage you to experience Reiki as a client yourself to understand how it feels to receive Reiki energy. Additionally, before channelling Reiki energy for others receiving a Reiki session is the perfect way to cleanse your own energy.

How will I know when is the right time to embark on attuning to Level 1?

Accepted Answer

If you feel called to self-heal or learn more about the magic of Reiki! You are always called at the right time, perhaps through intuition, interest or even your dreams. The fact you are here reading this now may indicate it's the right time! Trust yourself!

Question 3

Can I charge clients for Reiki after attuning to Level 1?

Accepted Answer

I would not recommend charging after achieving Level 1 as this stage is all about you, self-healing & focusing on your detox (to be discussed). You can certainly practice on friends & family but I would not recommend charging until you are Level 2 qualified, where you will receive your symbols.
