Usui Shiki Ryoho 2nd Degree Reiki is a course for those who have already completed Usui Shiki Ryoho 1st Degree and wish to continue their Reiki path by gaining further tools to use in their practice. It offers a way to deepen personal practice and also to add new aspects to treatment of others, including treatment at a distance. It is an essential course for those wishing to become verified as professional practitioners.

Course overview

2nd Degree Reiki builds on the experience you have already gained through your 1st degree practice. In taking this next step you will gain new ways to use your Reiki gift. The course takes place over 3 sessions, the first a few days before the second so that you have time to do some homework between the two sessions. This homework is to learn some sacred symbols, which have been passed down the lineage of teachers from Mikao Usui to the present day. In Usui Shiki Ryoho these symbols are not kept written down, so you need to learn them by heart. The second day of the course will include an initiation to empower you to use the symbols. You will then learn how to apply them in your hands on practice. On the third day you will learn and practice how to do Reiki healing at a distance. The class will be a maximum of 6 new students. although sometimes students wishing to revise 2nd degree are also present.

• Demonstration and practice of using 2nd degree symbols in hands on treatments

• Teaching and practice of how to use 2nd degree symbols for distant Reiki treatment

Who should attend

This course is for Reiki students who have learned 1st Degree Reiki in the Usui Shiki Ryhoho system of Reiki - please get in touch if you are unsure whether you have learned in the same system. You also need to have been practising Reiki on yourself, family and friends for a minimum of 6 months several months, ideally a year.
You may feel an inner call to go further with your Reiki practice, to understand more about how Reiki can support you and those you treat. This course is not just about being able to do Reiki at a distance. It is also for those who are seeking a deeper spiritual connection with Reiki and themselves.

Commitment

It is necessary to attend all three days of the course and to have time to do the homework of learning the symbols by heart.

There is a financial commitment of £330.00 teaching fee. If this amount is not currently available for you it may be an indication to wait.

The teaching fee is a once in a lifetime commitment that also enables you to review any future 2nd degree class at no further cost.

Tuesday 10.30 am - 12.30 pm

Thursday 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm

Frequently asked questions

What if I miss a session?

It is important to attend all 3. If you begin the course and are unable to complete it due to some unforseen circumstance my commitment to you is to ensure that you receive the remaining teaching. You will also be able to attend the remaining sessions at a future class.

What further information will I receive?

When you book you will receive an email confirming the times, date and venue for the course. Also information about completion of the course fee payment.

Is there disabled access?

Yes there is access to the teaching room, but the toilet is on the 1st floor so not accessable.

What is your cancellation policy?

You are only required to pay a deposit to secure your place - the balance of payment will be made on the first evening when you are sure you wish to proceed.

If you cancel up to 1 week before the course your deposit will be refunded in full. After this you can cancel up to one day ahead and will receive a refund minus a £15 administration charge. If you cancel on the day or don't attend there is no deposit refund and once you have committed to the course at the first session no refund will be issued.

Will I get a certificate?

When you have completed the course you will receive a certificate to say that you have been initiated into 2nd degree Reiki in the Usui Shiki Ryoho system. This is not a professional practitioner certificate.
