V. SERIOUS BEER TRAINING

If you wish to further you knowledge of beer styles then look no further. The V.Serious Beer Crew is a group of beer professionals, beer writers & beer lovers who are studying for either their IBD Beer Sommelier, Cicerone of all levels or their BJCP qualifications.
We aim to gather once a month over the next 10 months to taste, explore and share our knowledge on every style of beer within the BJCP 2015 guidelines (plus a few that aren't).
The format is simple - we shall work our way through eight beers each session in a totally informal manner, taking it in turns to present each beer. BJCP Guidelines will be present. We will try to acquire the BJCP listed commercial example, but we will also throw a few home brews (with or without faults) and a few interesting variants on the style into the mix.
We will try to keep the cost of each session to £10 maximum per person (each beer will be roughly a 100-150ml pour). If we have any off flavour kits available we will try to add these in also.
Spaces are limited to 15 maximum - you MUST sign up. Payment for the session can be made on the night.
