This is the second on a series of business networking tours in the Vale of White Horse.
Vale4Business are running business tours with the aim of showcasing the brilliant and diverse businesses in the district, whilst offering an alternative form of networking.
UTC Oxfordshire opened in September 2015 in Didcot. It admits up to 600 boys and girls aged 14 to 19 living in the catchment area. UTC specialises in life sciences, physical sciences and engineering, alongside a broad and balanced curriculum, and benefits from the support of local employers and two leading universities.
UTC Oxfordshire’s aspiration is for the school to provide scientifically focused and high technology education for a broad catchment area. The science and engineering specialisms will also draw in young people from further afield, creating a regional centre of excellence.
The tour of UTC Oxfordshire will take place on 28 September, between 3-4pm.
Throughout the year Vale4Business will also been running a range of evening networking tours of Vale businesses as a way of encouraging useful networking for our members and as an alternative to other breakfast networking groups. The full autumn/winter programme will be announced shortly and includes other businesses such as Miele and Diamond.
Vale4Business is a collaborative partnership that brings together the key businesses in the Vale of White Horse to support long term economic growth. It aims to provide the strategic leadership, vision and knowledge by removing barriers to expansion, securing inward investment, improving infrastructure and promoting the Vale as an attractive place to live and work.
Led by business for business, it provides members with the opportunity to influence and work with the Vale of White Horse District Council.
