Value Management Collaborative Development Day for Coaches and Launch Event

Development day for improvement coaches

The collaborative will host a development day for improvement coaches on Monday 18 November 9.30am-4.30pm at the Edinburgh Grosvenor Hotel, Grosvenor Street, Haymarket, Edinburgh.

The aims of the day are:

• to network with other coaches and establish the peer support system
• to learn about the Value Management approach
• to discuss roles and responsibilities in the collaborative, and
• to prepare coaches to work with teams on Value Management.

Launch event

Improvement coaches, teams and leaders are invited to attend the launch event for the collaborative on Tuesday 19 November 9.00am-4.30pm at the Edinburgh Grosvenor Hotel, Grosvenor Street, Haymarket, Edinburgh.

The launch event will bring teams together to start their Value Management journey by:

• learning about the Value Management approach
• sharing the learning from NHS Highland
• considering the conditions for successful improvement, and
• developing a learning system at national and board level.

A morning breakout session will support coaches to consider the actions required to

• work with teams and leadership
• influence across their organisation, and
• build a local learning system to drive improvements in value.

The afternoon breakout session for improvement coaches will provide improvement coaches and teams with the opportunity to work together, further exploring the methodology and starting to plan their work on Value Management.
