About this event
Children are invited to join this fun live webinar dedicated to the famous artist Vincent Van Gogh. Kids will listen to a short interesting talk about the artist and the art movement that he is linked to, after that kids will get inspired to paint their own masterpieces in this step-by-step guided hands-on class. Join us to learn about a famous artist and to get painting tips from the professional artist, art historian and art educator with many years of experience Anastasia Belous.
Van Gogh or Gauguin? Who are you going to vote for?
Vincent Van Gogh's class is taking place on the 28th of May,
Paul Gauguin's is taking place on the 11th of June.
(the two classes in the timetable are linked)
Both are aimed at children 7-9 years old.
1-hour-30-mins workshop
Level: beginner
Material required: A3 and A4 paper (180gsm or thicker), any paints (gouache, poster, acrylics) colours: blue, green, yellow, white, red and black, some brushes - small and medium, a pencil, a rubber eraser, some crayons or oil pastels, or a sharpie, a reference printed out.
The recording will arrive in your inbox 1 hour after the live webinar will end and will be available to view online until the end of the course (the end of August 2022)

Your workshop leader for this session is Anastasia Belous - a professional artist and art historian with several; years of experience in leading practical art history courses for adults and children.
