Launched in 2016, Varsity is an annual sporting event between Solent University and Bournemouth University. The event is held each spring and showcases student sport, with a healthy competition between the two local universities. The event gives clubs the opportunity to celebrate both the Universities sporting ability and showcase their talent. The event consists of various sporting matches played across two days, with indoor sports played at Solent in the Sports Complex and outdoor sports taking place at Chapel Gate. At the Chapel Gate event student athletes and spectators can enjoy live music, food vendors, crazy golf and other fun activities throughout the day. Over the last few years the event has been getting bigger and better with over 3,000 people in attendance.

Please note there is no transport provided to this event for spectators. Spectators must be 18+ to enter this event.
