Description

This course provides an understanding of the concept of co-existing support needs and the importance of anti-discriminatory practice. It examines the growing connections between domestic abuse, mental health issues, and suicide. The course covers substance abuse, personal experiences of care, contact with child protection services and information sharing. Learners will receive guidance on how to navigate various systems and advocate effectively for survivors with co-existing multiple needs.


Learning Objectives:

  • Understanding the impact of VAWDASV for individuals with co-existing multiple support needs.
  • Understanding the importance of anti-discriminatory practice regarding survivors with co-existing multiple support needs.
  • Understanding how to support survivors with co-existing multiple support needs.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing and may be subject to an administration charge.

- 14 or more days before the training - 100% refund to be issued

- 8 to 14 days before the training - 50% refund to be issued

- Less than 7 days before the training - Welsh Women's Aid will retain the full amount

- Non-attendance - Welsh Women's Aid will retain the full amount
