Round Hill Ventures hosts a bi-monthly education series called ‘VC Lead Ladies’ which aims to enable a knowledge exchange between female VCs and inspiring women in tech. VC Lead Ladies returns on Friday, 26 February 2021.

Speakers

Lisa Barclay, Investment Director at Nesta, with a focus on edtech and govtech. Lisa has worked in impact investment for the past 15 years, both as an investor and advisor. Prior to Nesta, Lisa was COO at Social Finance where she also led on developing Social Impact Bonds to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and young people. As an investor at Bridges Fund Management, she invested in high-growth small businesses in deprived areas of the UK.

Camilla Dolan, Founding Partner at Eka Ventures, investing in founders building consumer technology companies that create a healthier, more inclusive and sustainable economy. Since 2013 invested in consumer technology businesses, initially at MMC Ventures at Seed to Series A and then at Burda Principal Investments at Series B to Pre-IPO.

Hannah Leach, Partner at Houghton Street Ventures, leading an initiative to develop an ESG framework for early stage investments. Previously, Hannah was a Venture Advisor at Gauss Ventures, a Growth & Strategy Director at Adapt, and a Venture Consultant at Hambro Perks, and held a number of founder and executive positions at the innovative companies.

Farhan Lalji, Principal at Anthemis, where he leads the BBVA & Anthemis Venture Creation Partnership, working with companies that are focused on evolving the digital finance and banking experience for consumers and companies. Previously, Farhan was a Partner at Rokk3r Labs, a global venture builder, and an executive at PeerIndex, a social media analytics platform that was acquired by Brandwatch in 2014, and at Yahoo! He is a lecturer in managing digital organizations at London Business School.
