Event description

Description

In autumn 2016 we commissioned the Institute for Voluntary Action Research (IVAR) to investigate the impact of collaboration on service users by way of looking at a number of case studies.

The research identifies three specific ingredients that enable collaboration to deliver responsive and well-received services and therefore enable greater impact by collaborating organisations

This event will share the findings of the research, present a case study on the impact of collaboration on beneficiaries and also engage with the audience to consider the actions the sector, funders and policy makers need to take to support more and better collaboration within and with the sector into the future.

In our series of consultations looking at the issues facing the sector in the future and the actions needed - all stakeholders have told us they want to see more and better collaboration. Collaboration needs support and resourcing and we need to let those with the ability to provide that resourcing and support what the specific needs are and the beenfits that will flow.
