VCSE Leadership Network: State of the Norfolk VCSE Sector

Join us for an afternoon of networking, discussion, and action-focused conversations on the future of Norfolk’s VCSE sector.

Hosted by FUSE Network, as a member of the Empowering Communities Partnership, this event will explore the current challenges and opportunities facing voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Norfolk. Together, we’ll reflect on the changes needed and discuss how we can collectively drive progress.

What to expect

• Insights from Voluntary Norfolk presenting the findings of the State of the Norfolk VCSE Sector Report
• Real-world experiences from local VCSE leaders on the challenges and opportunities in the sector
• A collective call to action, culminating in a small number of clear asks for our statutory partners to improve ways of working, ultimately benefiting Norfolk’s communities
• Refreshments - Tea, coffee and biscuits
• Networking time with fellow VCSE leaders and stakeholders

What is the VCSE Leadership Network?

This network is hosted by the Empowering Communities Partnership and exists to support those in leadership roles within Norfolk’s VCSE sector by creating a space for relationships to develop and experiences to be shared, providing peer support which informs and strengthens collective influencing.

Feedback from VCSE colleagues identified the following priorities for the Network: listening and discussing, influencing, and connecting with other VCSEs, statutory colleagues and stakeholders.

Who is this event for?

Anyone in, or aspiring to, a management or leadership position in the Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector across Norfolk is warmly invited to join our VCSE Leadership Network hosted by the Empowering Communities Partnership.

We are also inviting those in local or national government, statutory services and other stakeholders to join us.

Through this session, we hope to allow relationships and collaboration to develop alongside sharing collated feedback from the VCSE sector to external stakeholders increasing shared understanding.

Where to go

This meeting will take place in The Gallery in The Forum. There is a large opening on your left as you walk through the atrium. Members of the Empowering Communities Team will be on hand to greet you.
