This training session will help you write engaging volunteer role descriptions. This is intended for those in York's voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.

Training Content: This session will look at what things you might want to include in a role description to encourage applications, appeal to a more diverse range of volunteers from different backgrounds and give applicants all the information they need. We’ll also discuss how role descriptions can help get the right volunteers for the role and improve volunteer retention too.

Eligibility: The training is free and open to VCSE sector organisations based and operating in York.
