This workshop will introduce you to practical ways AI tools can support your organisation’s work. It is designed for those in York’s voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.
Workshop Content:
This session will explore how AI can help with automating routine tasks, improving communication, and supporting outreach. Delivered in collaboration with York CVS, the workshop is led by Master's students from the University of York's AI programme. It will include real-world examples, ethical and legal considerations, and a live demonstration.
No prior experience with AI is needed—just an interest in how these tools could be applied in a charity or community setting.
Before attending, you’ll be asked two short questions to help shape the session:
- Does your organisation currently use any AI tools? If yes, please describe what tools and how they are used.
- What are you hoping to learn or gain from this workshop?
Please come to the session with your answers to these questions, or feel free to email them to me in advance.
