Ladies and Gents! Round 2 is HERE!!

Our first one was so popular all the tickets were gone after 3 days!

Please come and join us and other like minded people for a one night only of fine wines, good conversations and a delicious selection of plant based cheeses!

Wine

The theme of the wines for this event is 'Local wines'.

Our good friend Tom has searched for the best English wines for us to try with the cheeses.
You will be welcomed with a glass of bubbly followed by 4 generous tasters, If you are looking for a chunky Malbec, England just doesn't do that I'm afraid! Our wine expert Tom will talk you through the choices while you nibble on amazing cheeses and trimmings.

*There will be other drinks available for you to purchase through the night.

There are three things you need to know about Tom.
1: He loves English wine... maybe a little too much.
2: Although he will probably wear a tie, he is not a wine snob.
3: As a vegan, he thinks that putting animal bits into wine – or anything else for that matter – is weird. Over the last decade his wine adventures have taken him from selling wines at Oddbins in Edinburgh to chasing grape skins out of a winepress with a powerhose in Kent, and from talking his way past armed guards at a vineyard in Ethiopia to marketing the world’s most expensive wines in London.

Cheeses + Trimmings

We are working with couple of different makers for this event including Mouses Favourite ( obviously) and a new comer that is Kinda co. I will personaly be making the famous 'smoked Salmon' to add to the board as well. You will not regret coming to this event!

Ellie from Kinda Co will be there on the night to answer any questions on her cheeses and will also be selling some of her cheeses for you to take home : )


Mouse's Favourite
'My path to cheese making began when I became vegan, bought Veganomicon and discovered a whole new world of foods that I would never have otherwise come across. Eventually I found cultured foods, and nut-based cheeses have been the focus of my experiments for around 6 years. I can still appreciate the rustic beauty of dairy cheese and have tried to incorporate my nostalgia for that aesthetic into my nut-based versions. For me it's more than just something to eat, it's the whole ritual: the cheeseboard with crusty bread and a glass of wine, and that is something that I wanted to be able to recreate as a vegan. I want it to look as good as it tastes.'

Kinda Co
As a life-long cheese addict I thought ditching dairy a few years ago would spell the end of my love affair with all things cheesy and good. After much experimenting in the kitchen I began to develop recipes for plant based cheese that would quench even my long-standing cheese palette.

Doors open at 7pm and eating will start at 7:30.
