The Vegetable Gardening for Beginners workshop is run by the Edible Gardening Project. The session is aimed at novice gardeners and will give participants the confidence they need to get started growing vegetables. With useful hints and tips for the productive garden, the session includes basic introductions to planning, tools, seed sowing, plot preparation, harvesting and composting.
- Age 16+
- Meet at the Edible Gardening Project Polytunnel in the Demonstration Garden, ask at Garden entrance for directions.
- Please arrive in good time and be ready to start at 10.30am. Please note, the polytunnel is 5 minutes walk from the entrances.
- The workshop is an outdoor session. Please wear appropriate clothing (warm/ waterproof).
