This session will be hosted by KCHFT.

A face-to-face training session for registered professionals on the legal and ethical aspects of Verification of Expected Deaths.

For health care professionals in the Kent and Medway Area.

A demonstration of the clinical process for verifying will be shown, and individuals will be able to practice this process giving them the skills and confidence to take this forward in their work-based practice.

The roles of different professionals when a person dies are discussed, enabling attendees to know how to work as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team to carry out verification of expected death with compassion and professionalism. Communication with the bereaved is key and will be covered to give attendees the assurance to handle the process with respect and care.

By attending this session, you will be assessed for your classroom competency, and your competency certificate will be sent to you.

A minimum of 3 people will need to be booked in order for this training to take place.
