Very Brief Advice & Access to Services

This is a course for anyone living, working or volunteering in Tayside who would like to raise the important topic of tobacco addiction and know more about how to access stop smoking advice / service. To increase awareness and knowledge of smoking cessation and the Tayside financial incentive scheme.

By the end of this session, participants will have a greater understanding of:

• Health risks of smoking and the importance of supporting people to quit tobacco for good
• What Very Brief Advice (VBA) is and know how to implement it
• How to signpost to the NHS Tayside Quit Your Way smoking cessation service and the NHS Tayside financial smoking cessation incentive schemes
