Training Session Description:

Join us for an interactive training session led by Will Willson the Programme Lead from London Innovation and Improvement Alliance (LiiA). The VESS London: ‘ The Safe Place’ is a pan London service provides tailored, trauma informed support for children and young adults in London who are affected by violence and exploitation. Delivered through a consortium of renowned organisations—including Safer London, St Giles Trust, New Horizons Youth Centre, Anna Freud, and the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC)—the programme provides a comprehensive range of services and assistance.

This session aims to enhance professional awareness of this London-wide resource, which is dedicated to supporting children and young people at risk of, or vulnerable to, exploitation and violence.

This session aims:

The session is aimed at anyone working with children, young people and families and will focus on information around the service, what support is available to children and families, and how to refer in and access services.
