Mission Motorsport Returns to Bicester Heritage – A Free Day of Fun for the Armed Forces Community!

We're thrilled to announce that Mission Motorsport is heading back to Bicester Heritage, the UK’s centre of excellence for historic motoring, for a fantastic day of free entertainment exclusively for the Armed Forces community!

This month, we're combining two of our most loved events—Best of British and Families Day—to create an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Get ready for:

  • Exhilarating passenger rides in iconic British classics on the Bicester Heritage test track (a favourite for Hollywood productions!), featuring six technical corners and a 310m straight. Passengers must be 18+.
  • Children’s driving experiences in our split-control Lightning McQueen-style car and our dual-control MX5 (see age details below).
  • Aircraft from the Historic Army Aircraft Flight.

This event is open to the entire Armed Forces community, including serving personnel, veterans, military spouses and partners, and the military bereaved.

With special access for Mission Motorsport guests, there's something for everyone: iconic cars, good company and an environment where you can simply sit back and relax. It's the perfect opportunity to meet with friends old and new and enjoy good company, tea and coffee, or explore the site normally restricted to the public.

What’s On – Activities Include:

  • Passenger laps in iconic British cars on the Bicester Heritage test track (ages 18+ only)

  • Historic Army Aircraft Flight (HAAF) – special appearance (details to be confirmed)

  • Lightning McQueen Split-Control Mazda MX-5 – let your child take the wheel while you handle the pedals! (Suitable for all ages)

  • Mazda MX-5 Junior Driving Experience – kids aged 10+ can get behind the wheel of a dual-controlled car, accompanied by a trained instructor, and take a spin on the track

  • Fun activities for all ages outside Hangar 113.

Please note: Whilst we will be providing brews we are unable to provide lunch. Please feel free to bring your own or use the onsite facilities.

Open to the Armed Forces community. If you know somebody who would enjoy the day, please pass on the information - the more the merrier - it's not solely for Mission Motorsport beneficiaries!

Delivered by Mission Motorsport, this event is generously supported by Bicester Heritage and HAAF
