Gather together with other veterans and find common ground by discussing what you need from veterans’ services. Join us for an afternoon focused on your experiences as a veteran and the services you might use.
- What is it like to be a veteran living in Scotland?
- Do you know what services are out there for veterans, and what they all do?
- Is it easy to navigate these services?
- What’s missing?
CAPS Independent Advocacy is a partner in Scotland’s Veterans Wellbeing Alliance. Our role, as an Independent Advocacy provider is to ensure that the voices of as many veterans as possible are heard and amplified in the design and delivery of the work of the Alliance. The event is open to any UK veteran living in Scotland. A UK veteran is someone who has served in HM Armed Forces for at least one day (Regular or Reserve), to include the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Royal Air Force, and the Merchant Navy under legally defined military operations.
The event will be facilitated by Steven who is a veteran himself and is looking forward to welcoming you!
On the day there will be group discussions and activities to decide together what Scotland’s Veterans Wellbeing Alliance needs to know. Come along and ‘work together’ for an afternoon of discussion and design to inform and influence the way veterans services ‘work together’ in the future!
