Important - Please Note

What's included: Everything is included in the ticket price. However, please note that due to limited capacity, workshops and sessions held in the Mothership and Pod tents must be booked separately, alongside a festival ticket. Those tickets are free of charge but it allows us to organise the workshops and sessions effectively. Please choose your workshops carefully and ensure that they don't clash with a talk you want to hear.

Musicians and performers: If you want to take part in the open mic or busking sessions, please bring along your instruments (and cash for the busking!). Please arrive early to sign up, and we have a lockable storage space for your instruments when not in use.

Advance tickets only: This event is pre-book only so please book early to avoid disappointment (and to secure your workshop spots).

All ticket prices include VAT.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dates and times?

Saturday 6th – Sunday 7th September 2025. On Saturday, doors open at 11:00 and we wrap up around 01:00. Sunday doors open at 11:00 and close around 22:00.

Where is the festival held?

At The Missing Sock, set in two acres of land, just outside Cambridge. Address: Newmarket Road, Bottisham, CB25 9AQ. It's easily accessible by car, taxi, or bike from Cambridge City Centre. Check out our beautiful venue: https://www.kindamagicevents.org/location-vibefest

Is there accommodation or camping?

There is no camping onsite. However, there is a campsite not far away, and there are many nearby Airbnbs, guest houses and hotels in Cambridge and surrounding villages. We recommend booking early. Check www.kindamagicevents.org/location-vibefest for details.

Will food and drink be available?

Yes! Healthy, high-vibe food options and drinks will be available to buy throughout the event. More details will be on the website soon.

Are children and pets allowed?

This event is designed for adults (18+) as some talks and content may not be suitable for younger audiences and we don't have enough space to accommodate children's activities on this occasion. Pets are not allowed.

What is included in the main ticket price?

Everything is included in the ticket price. However, please note that due to limited capacity, workshops and sessions held in the Mothership and Pod tents must be booked separately, alongside a festival ticket. Those tickets are free of charge but it allows us to organise the workshops and sessions

Can I buy tickets on the door?

We can’t take payments on the door. This event is pre-book only, so please book early to avoid disappointment (and ensure you can attend the workshops you're interested in).

Can I park at the venue?

We have a limited number of spaces in the carpark for festival attendees. You can pre-book a carpark space in advance if you wish to guarantee a space. There is some free street parking on Albert Road, which may fill up quickly. You may consider Cambridge park & ride options, or taxis.

Do you offer concession tickets?

Yes, we offer a limited number of concession weekend passes for those who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial hardship, health circumstances, or other barriers. To apply, please get in touch with us directly via hello@kindamagicevents.org and tell us a bit about your situation.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable, but you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else if you can no longer attend.

How accessible is the venue?

The venue has step-free access to most indoor areas and a ramp entrance to the venue, as well as portable ramps if required. If you have specific accessibility needs, contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Can I offer a workshop or book a stall?

We’re still accepting applications for stallholders as we have a small number of tables left. Our VibeFest schedule is now finalised, but we are accepting applications for all Kinda Magic Events. Visit our website to apply: www.kindamagicevents.org.

Can I attend for just one day?

Weekend passes will be available first, as VibeFest is designed as a two-day experience. If capacity allows, a number of day tickets may be released closer to the event. We recommend getting a weekend pass early, but please sign up to the mailing list for updates if you can only make one day.

Can I volunteer at VibeFest?

Yes! We have a number of volunteer opportunities, depending on your skills and experience. Roles include help with setup, tech support, workshop support, front-of-house, and more. Volunteers get a free weekend pass (excluding workshops) in exchange for a half day shift each day (apply via site).

Can I take part in the open mic and busking for Palestine?

Absolutely - we want you to! If you want to take part in the open mic or busking sessions, please bring along your instruments (and don't forget cash for the other buskers!), so we can raise funds for medical aid. Sign up on arrival. We have a lockable storage space for instruments when not in use.

Why are there booking fees?

We know nobody loves booking fees, but by passing them on, we’re able to keep our core ticket prices low and put every penny into making the festival as magical as possible. This also gives us the flexibility to offer free workshops and keep things accessible. All ticket prices include VAT.
